SUMMARY:Start of outside social pickleball
DESCRIPTION:A large number of members and others have been enjoying playing Pickleball indoors at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre (from 1st April Tuesdays\, 8 – 9pm) and in the Sports Centre at the University of Cumbria (different time slots on Sundays) during the winter. \nFrom Sunday April 7th\, we plan to re-start outdoors Pickleball on our mini court – 10am to 12 noon.  We hope that this can be weekly\, but will be weather dependent. \nAnyone with queries or who wants to join the WhatsApp group through which the sessions are organised should contact Sharon on slphillips@gmail.com.

SUMMARY:Summer camp for juniors
DESCRIPTION:The Michael Cartmell Academy is running summer camps at our Club in August – on Thursdays 3rd\, 10th\, 17th and 24th August.\n9am – 3pm – £20 (or half day 9am-12pm £10) – Ages 5-14 year olds. \n\nAny ability is welcome\, equipment is provided.  Children will learn the fundaments of tennis in a fun and progressive way. \nAlso some multi sports in the afternoon. \n\n\n\nCamps will run in all weather and need to wear sports clothing and bring a snack and a drink with them. Full day campers will need a packed lunch. DESCRIPTION:Our Club is holding a FREE Open Day for families and adults on Saturday April 29th (2pm to 4pm).  It is being organised for people in Lancaster & area who are interested in trying out tennis or pickleball. \nThis is especially aimed at families and juniors but adults are equally welcome.
