SUMMARY:Club singles tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Club’s annual singles tournament will start with the round robin stage over the weekend of 3rd and 4th September.  We hope lots of Club members will take part in this very enjoyable event. \nThe Ladies event will be on Saturday 3rd September from 2pm and there will be two Men’s Pools\, Pool A at 10am and Pool B at 1.30pm on Sunday 4th.   An entry fee of £5 is charged to pay for trophies and new tennis balls. \nYou need to register in advance please with Susan on email lancstennis@gmail.com or tel: 07771 734920 BY NO LATER than 5pm on Thursday September 1st please – the men can give a preference for Pool A or Pool B. \nSemi-finals and finals will be organised later in September.

SUMMARY:Lancaster League Presentation event
DESCRIPTION:Our Club is hosting the end of season Lancaster & District League presentation event on September 23rd at 7pm. \nA great evening with good company\, a special quiz prepared by Club member Malcolm Dow and the presentation of trophies – including the winter Vets league which our Eagles team (captain Derek Metcalfe) won. \nOnly £5 for a night of entertainment and buffet.   There will also be a raffle to help to raise funds for the league and our Club. \nALL Club members are very welcome to come along to this event\, not just team members. There will be more info about how to buy tickets nearer the day.
