Kendal Men’s 1 promoted

Congratulations to captain Simon Hicks and all the players in our Kendal Men’s 1 team.  By coming runner up in Division 2, the team will be promoted back in Division 1 for the summer 2024 season.

Regular players like Paul Darwent and Martin Kearns, as well as others who have contributed to the good results – including Stuart Kelly, Simon Hicks, Jonny Eastham, Miles Firth, Tom Whiley and Matt Cross – are to be congratulated.   Well done guys.

At the time of writing, the Kendal Men’s 2 team (captain Steve Garland) have a chance of being promoted from Division 3 back into Division 2, but it depends on their final match result against North Lonsdale and some other last fixures in the Division.

And the Fylde Men’s team in Division 7 (captain Andre Coltman) very narrowly missed winning the Division after being promoted from Division 8 last season.  There is still a faint chance that they may be promoted.  Well done to this team squad as well.
