Welcome

Welcome to our website and we hope you find all the information you need here.

Thank you very much to our main sponsor Sport England Inspired Facilities for funding our courts.
We have 3 astro turf floodlit courts and a small tennis clubhouse, a mini tennis/pickleball court and practice fence and access to the Lancaster Cricket & Sports Club pavilion with its bar and rooms – and Club members have much reduced drinks prices too.

In 2017 and in 2011 we were voted Community Club of the Year for Lancaster, and in 2017 were also runners up – Highly Commended – for the Lancashire Sport Community Club award. Our sponsors include Sport England, Lancaster City Council, Galbraith Trust, EDF, Lancaster University Community Fund, Adactus Housing, United Utilities, Lancaster Community Fund, Lancashire County Council, Skipton Building Society, Aviva & Cumberland Building Society.

We welcome new players, including beginners, and have a reduced fee for new adult members. We provide tennis balls and can also provide racquets for new players. Click here for details of what we offer for adults and ‘JOIN US’ for information on our membership arrangements.

We also now offer Pickleball, a fun game especially suitable for beginners and older players, on our mini court.

We are affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and have an agreement with the local U3A. We have successful Mixed, Ladies and Men’s teams in three local leagues.

We especially welcome juniors and have a very active junior programme, which includes coaching and holiday camps – see here for more information. We take Child Protection issues seriously click here for our safeguarding policy.

Contact us for more information, or pop down to one of our friendly adult social tennis sessions (every weekday morning from 10am to 12 noon, Friday evenings from 7pm and Sunday mornings from 10am to 1pm).

We introduced wheelchair tennis coaching in 2014 but it is not currently available .
