Very good summer league season

The 2025 summer League match season is now over and well done to all our teams for very good performances and results.  We had six teams again in the local leagues –  Lancaster & District League (Mixed and Women’s), Fylde League (Men’s) and Kendal League (2 Men’s, Mixed) .

The highlight of the season was the promotion of our Men’s team in Kendal League Div 3 which WON the league and will be in Div 2 next season. CONGRATULATIONS to them.

And two of our teams were runners up in their leagues – our Men’s team in the high standard Kendal League Div 1 and our team in the Lancaster League Mixed Div 1 .  The Women’s team finished a very good 3rd in a good quality league, with the Fylde League Men’s team finishing mid table 4th and the Mixed Kendal League team finished a solid 6th, after a tight relegation battle with Heversham!

Thank you very much to all our 2025 adult team captains – Simon Hicks, Malcolm Dow, Derek Metcalfe, Dave Clark, Andre Coltman, Maxine Clark and Sandra Eccles – and to all the team players.
