Both pairs from Lancaster Tennis Club reached the semi finals of the Lunesdale Invitational Tournament Men’s Doubles on Saturday July 18th. Well done to them.
The winners were Peter Nickson and Ant Forrest, who are the first pair in our Kendal Men’s 1st team. They won all their matches – each match in the group of 6 being one set up to 4 games.
In the semi final they played our other Club pair – Sam Lockwood & Rod Kay – winning 4-1 . Then in the high quality final they played the top pair from Slyne Tennis Club, Alex Hewitt & Max Hewitt, winning comfortably 4-2.
