Free coaching for adults and juniors

It’s great news for anyone thinking about playing tennis – children and adults.  Our Club has been very lucky to receive generous donations from local company Sofidel Ltd – through Club member Erdem Saatcioglu – and Tennis Lancashire so is able to offer coaching sessions either free of charge or heavily subsidised.

There will be FREE coaching sessions for beginners with the Michael Cartmell Academy, the Club’s coach, starting on Wednesday August 12^th at 5.45pm and also FREE sessions specifically for women and girls from Friday August 21st also at 5.45pm.  What a wonderful chance to try the great game of tennis on excellent astro turf courts in a friendly atmosphere.  And from these donations the Club has also been able to buy new racquets for anyone who doesn’t have their own.

AND for juniors, there are special subsidised coaching sessions starting on Saturday September 12^th – any age from 5 upwards.  Really fun sessions.

Club Chairman, Malcolm Dow, said : ” We are delighted to be able to offer these great opportunities to try tennis on our excellent courts.  And for those who want to continue playing, our Club offers special low membership fees for new members.”
