The summer 2026 season is now nearly over and we had five adult teams this year in the local leagues – Lancaster & District League (Mixed and Women’s), Fylde League (Men’s) and Kendal League (two Men’s teams). And it was again an enjoyable one in good weather with our teams generally performing well in their leagues.
Our Men’s team in the Fylde League Div 6 very narrowly missed winning the league and gaining promotion and our two Men’s Kendal League teams did very well to finish mid table after being promoted last season. See here for the full details.
Thank you to all our 2026 adult team captains – Peter Nickson, Malcolm Dow, Chris Coltman & Derek Metcalfe, Dave Clark and Sandra Eccles – and to all the team players. Thank you also to Malcolm for taking over the Match Secretary role from Susan Lucas this season.
