Outdoor Pickleball
We were fortunate to be awarded a grant to pay for the net, balls & paddles and special paint needed to create the outside pickleball court at the Tennis Club through the Eric Wright Charitable Trust. Thank you to them.
During the summer we hope to provide some organised social sessions. In the past these have been on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings, but this is subject to confirmation.
And, in addition, Club members can arrange games with others through the WhatsApp group or with frieds. This is the court booking calendar to check when it’s available. The fee for anyone who is not a Club member is £3 per session.
There are also popular sessions for U3A members on Mondays (10am to 12 noon) and Wednesdays (2pm to 4pm) in the spring and summer – with the charge of £2 per person, when weather and conditions allow. The U3A contact is Margaret Hemming on email: [email protected]
New for 2026 is a Men’s Hub group on Fridays from 2pm to 4pm with Aftab as the contact on email: [email protected] funded through the Eric Wright Charitable Trust.

There is a Pickleball Whatsapp group to organise all Club outdoor and indoor sessions and a SPOND payments system when fees are charged.
