Pickleball
This is a racquet sport that has really grown in popularity in the UK in the last few years. We have refurbished our mini court so we now offer Pickleball, a fun game especially suitable for beginners and older players.
We offer outdoor playing opportunities on this court at our Club and we currently also organise indoor sessions for Club members at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre and Morecambe Bay Academy because play outside is not possible if it is too windy and/or wet. BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT BECAUSE OF STRONG INTEREST IN PLAYING INDOOR PICKLEBALL, THERE MAY BE A WAITING LIST TO JOIN THE GROUPS.
All Club members are very welcome to play this enjoyable game and we have a Pickleball only membership fee for anyone who doesn’t also want to play tennis.

All our sessions are initially organised through the Club Outdoor & Indoor Pickleball WhatsApp group. You can ask to join this by emailing Club Pickleball Organiser Diane on [email protected] and give her your mobile telephone number. Where fees are charged, payment is now made through SPOND.
Normally we expect players to become Club members after a couple of trial sessions.
We can also offer 1:1 and 1:2 Pickleball coaching with Club coach Michael Cartmell. £25 for 1:1 45 minutes and £35 for a session for 2 people. Any queries on tel: 07523 866116 or email: [email protected]
