The Club’s annual Open Day on Saturday April 12th was blessed with lovely sunshine, which was much appreciated. A good number of adults and juniors joined in, enjoying meeting members and trying out our courts.
Pickleball was especially popular and thanks a lot to Sharon Phillips and Nick Tinsdeall for being so welcoming.
Coach Michael Cartmell, assisted by Harry and Jonny, gave the youngsters who came down a great time as they tried out tennis for the first time. And his assistants were very welcoming and helpful at the reception desk.
And thanks so much also to all the other helpers who created a lovely atmosphere for the people who turned up – Evelyn, Rod & David Kay, Simon, Sandra, Kathy, Helen Edmead, Sam, Mary and Susan.
