Tom is Men’s Singles Champion

On a cloudy,  but not wet, Saturday morning there was an excellent Club Men’s Singles final between last year’s champion Bernd Schulze and new member Tom Whiley.  Based on their semi finals performances, it was not a suprise that it was a close match with excellent rallies and shots.

After an hour and a half of play Tom emerged the winner 6-4, 6-4.   The members and supporters who came down to watch the match were lucky to see such a high quality final.
