UPDATE: Lockdown restrictions in England
(updated 26th November)

Following today’s government announcement that Lancashire is in Tier 3 after December 2nd, the LTA has confirmed that:

Outdoor tennis will be able to resume across all tiers and specifically in Tier 3 areas, indoor sport (including tennis) as well as exercise classes will be restricted to within your household only. Outdoor sport will be able to continue

See here for all the info – https://www.lta.org.uk/about-us/tennis-news/news-and-opinion/general-news/2020/march/coronavirus-covid-19—latest-advice/

This is the grid with all the information –  https://www.lta.org.uk/globalassets/news/2020/local-restrictions-grid—tennis-activity-by-tier.pdf?category=Playing_Tennis_COVID19_Guidance

So we can play social doubles, with rule of 6, hand sanitisation, social distancing etc after December 2nd with turn up and play social tennis re-starting on Friday 4th December (at 7pm).  Junior coaching can also re-start and hopefully Steve Garland will have time to set up winter doubles starting again on Thursday December 3rd.

In the Tier 3 restrictions, the clubhouse should remain closed except to access the keys for the courts and disabled toilet (for the floodlights).
