A number of Club members have been awarded Volunteer Certificates by Lancaster CVS to celebrate their voluntary contribution to Club activities over the past year. The Certificates this year have been awarded to
Tennis
Dave Clark – court and grounds maintenance and Captain of Mixed team, Lancaster league
Malcolm Dow – interim Club Chairman, court and grounds maintenance, Committee and AGM organiser, Match Secretary and Captain of Kendal League Men’s 2 team
Sandra Eccles – outgoing Club membership secretary – having this responsibility for over 10 years – and Captain of Lancaster League Ladies team
Rod Kay – incoming Club membership secretary
Susan Lucas – Club Treasurer and fund raiser, website administrator, publicity and liaison with linked organisations
Pickleball
Sharon Phillips – outgoing Pickleball organiser, after setting up a range of sessions and systems for 4+ years
Diane Riach – incoming Pickleball organiser, further developing systems and bookings
It is hoped that the Certificates can be presented on Sunday July 26th alongside the round robin tournament.
