Year 6 children from the nearby Willow Lane Primary School have been enjoying afternoons of tennis at our Club as part of their P E programme. Organised through teacher Mrs Gemma Lewis, and with Susan Lucas as Club link, they have been blessed with fine weather.
They have also been very lucky that one of the coaches at the Michael Cartmell Academy – Harry Dingle – has been available to run the sessions and give the children fun exercises and games to interest them in tennis.
The sessions will come to an end in mid July.
